In the summertime, cicada plays a steel tongue drum (https://i. Ytimg. Com/vi/6l87uohhl8u/maxresdefault. Jpg) on a freshwater beach in grand haven, michigan. It makes some lovely sounds.
The beat was made using the real drum sounds in fruity loops for a friend who wanted to jam some new guitar riffs for his band. The tempo was originally 60 bpm but sounds better at 90bpm. It comprises of 2 bars of drums with hats and 2 with a ride.
Drums recorded in stereo. Samples have compression, eq, and a slight touch of reverb / room ambience added. This makes them cut through a complete mix without further processing. Enjoy!.
Another drum track i made for a friend to jam with using the the real drum sounds in fruityloops. Its a 6 bar loop comprising of a beat with hats and the with ride and back to the hats again. Originally it was programmed at 55 bpm but sounds better at 90 or so.
I was trying to imitate the noise that usually happens when someone delivers a comedic punchline, you know, the high hat sound. I used a cheap desktop drumset.

Net/), to separate the individual snare hits from the ride hits as well as the kicks,. I recorded the amen break samples to be separated with this amen break vst because it has good room reverb on it:. (https://www. Kvraudio. Com/product/db-force-the-amen-by-mastrcode-music). You can put this audio file in a splicer to make custom drum beats.
Casio mt-36 drum hits. A bit quietly and noisily recorded, but my soundcard can't do much better. Amazing analogue(?, some sounds sound like semi-digital) drum hits, sound kinda like sega genesis noises coupled with a roland 808 charm. I think you may find something worth preserving here - i think at least they're very worth preserving.
Tr606+tr808+cr78+casio mt-36+fx+editspart of an experiment with recordings of three of my favourite analogue drum-machines and a keyboard with amazing drum sounds, intended to create the ultimate combination of all four. This is an experiment. This is work in progress. I won't settle on one ultimate sound -- i will upload several best versions of each drum hit gradually as i fiddle with them. 7 hits on a paddle fan. Still figuring out how to record this. Recorded on samson q2u - the mic was behind the drum surface, and it was struck by my finger lightly on the other side, while being held at a wooden handle. There's some light paint on the drum surface, which may be made of synthetic (plastic?) material, and the rim is wire. It was a gift - unsure of its origins or nature, but it sounds cool.
